Ummmm...I feel sure we'd have heard or at least seen something like this by now if it was true. Smells fishy to me.

Strange Corvette Spotted
I posted this on the C6 section because it really is C6 related, although the C6 in question does have C5 wheels on it, so I guess it could be C5 related.
I was at a local weekly cruise-in with my C5, when I stumbled upon a strange C6. The first thing that caught my eye was the C5 Z06 Chrome Wheels. Next was the car itself. Take a look.
The owner came over and told me it was one of 300 that came out of Bowling Green for the 2005 year. It is a retractable hardtop. When I first saw it, I thought that it was an aftermarket removable hardtop, but I look a little closer and there is no trunk. He said that the rear opens to the back and the top retracts into that area.
I looked at my Black Book and found nothing or on the Corvette Action Center site either. Anybody seen one of these?
