This is a dumb question but I'm sure others are wondering as well. so here goes... How hard would it be to make a C6 rear bumper fit onto a C5/ Has anyone done it?
Don't do it. Wouldn't look right. Check out the customized c5 rear that has a c6 theme to it. Uses the c6 diffuser but keeps the c5 twilight's as the c6 ones would look as awful on a c5 as they do on the c6.

Been done and regardless what others think, I think it looks GREAT. It freshens up the old look of the C5 rear (especially the reverse lights) The C5 tail lights were kept but we molded in the rest of the C6 bumper from the license plate down. Here it is on my Z.
That's our TS front end that he did some of his own custom mods to. He molded in an OEM C6Z scoop and then modded to the lower lip to look like the chrome and carbon somewhat and wrapped it in carbon

Whose lower body skirts are those? Are they only available in CF? They look like something i have seen on a C6 but haven't been able to find them for the C5.
The front lip was custom made by Mark. The side skirts are our ZR skirts and they are available in fiberglass as well.

If you want to freshen the look up, then do it, there are plenty of C5 mods out there just for that, but to make the rear of a C5 look like a C6 I don't understand, same as adding a C6 nose to a C5. If you want to look like a C6 go set a C6.
