They do look good and many use them -
If it gets your costs down then I say go for it! They will look good and be functional and if you ever sell the Vette you can re-sell those or let it go with the Vette!
yes i think they look good. well I hope from the pictures. and it was going to be hard to get the calipers down with powder coat and have the corvette in white. plus the down time on my car
Depends on your driving style, I've heard that under certain conditions they could cause your brakes to overheat since they block airflow through the calibers.

I have heard the opposite. They help cool the calipers and rotors. They also cut down on brake dust and easy to clean. *shrug*
I like them. Theyr'e easier to keep clean that painted calipers and take wax well. Those who think they're "fake"... Well, just because they're red doesn't make them Brembo wannabes. Were that the case, then we can count GM itself as a wannabe with the original Z06 calipers. Anyway, here are mine...

I still like the looks of the original calipers painted better, but the covers do look pretty good and should be very easy to keep clean and looking good for a long time.
When you buy these covers do you get a free paper bag to put over your head to hide your embarrassment when your local ricer shows an interest at the parking lot?

I'm not sure why these covers are getting such a bad rap. There are sooo many parts that are put on Corvettes that serve no other purpose than a cosmetic modification. For these to be singled out like they have been is really odd imo.
I could understand for something like the Brembo Covers, which are trying to look like the real Brembo calipers. The MGP are clearly covers for calipers.
