One more l.e.d.
I bought a new shift **** and noticed it was kind of opaque so I wondered If a l.e.d would light it up. Sure enough it did!! Took my shifter shaft off and it was already drilled most of the way down. I had to drill it a little more and drill a small hole to bring the wire out below the shift boot.
I used a 5 mm red led and siliconed it in place. Wired it into my select ride panel so it comes on when the lights are on.
I think its done now. No more mods.

I knew when I posted I would get some haters. Doesnt matter to me! Pull up next to me at a night cruise in and lets see who gets some attention and great comments. Oh yeah, And can you wire my car for $$$? Since I own a l.e.d business I show people what can be done with a little imagination. Its also a great way to meet the gals!!

Calm down killer and I'm sure any girl would be attracted to a glowing *****, even some guys would be to but it's your car. You posted on a public forum so know you where gonna get different comments some good some bad what did you expect? Maybe your next mod should be thicker skin.

As long as you dig it, more power to you. It's your car. Personally, I will add glowing shift ***** to the huge list of cheesy Vette mods, which include taillight louvers, chrome fender cove fins, stick-on fake Z06 brake ducts, airbrushed hood liner murals, and wannabe Lambo doors.
