As a Vietnam era veteran I thank those that have already thanked the veteran’s, but let’s remember that today we are paying tribute to those that gave their lives for us and our great country to keep us free.

I believe Memorial Day is for those who died giving their all defending our nation and it's freedoms. Veterans Day is for all that served.

Today I remember those who served giving all they had. God bless them and may they rest in peace their duty being done.
