Default So pissed!!

I ordered a set of rotors and ZO6 brake calipers from WCC on the 20th here it is not even the first and i get a email saying hopefully by the 13-17 i should get a racking number by then...are you freaking kidding me??? now before all this i recieve a email saying if there is certain letters by the part number its going to be shipped from a differant wharehouse and same with a backorder(no such thing i think they just sent that just to try and cover there ***) the thing that really gets me is they say they have my front ones but the back they are being plated right now..wait, what?? being plated??.. what the hell are they talking about? when they said that something is going on their not telling me..i told my wife i want to cancel the order(paid by debit card) she said there is nothing we can do.. there has to be something!,im not waiting a month (at the least)to get my rotors!

sorry for the rant guys just wondering on what should i do?

Thanks,Clint

I've ordered a bunch of stuff from WCC and their service has always been first rate. I'd try to give them a call and see what's going on. I've found that because of the economy many vendors no longer keep certain parts in stock, which results in a longer delivery time.

Have you even tried to call them yet? If not, give them a chance to explain over the phone - WCC is a good vendor and sometimes things do get delayed - and it may be beyond their control. If you really want to cancel the order, you should be able to by giving them a call.

I have order from WCC brfore in fact I just placed an order a little over a week ago and I have already received it. They are usually good at shipping. Try calling and talking with them. Also maybe if that does not work one of the forum administrators can help, after all they are the forum store.

I hate to tell you but most brake components are drop shipped from the manufacturer, for example, my Baer rotors came directly from their plant, not from the vendor I bought them from. I bought my Corsa exhaust from WCC a few years ago...guess where the package came from....Corsa's plant in Ohio. This is not a serious condition, and many businesses are run this way, but one thing you need to think about is, on big purchases, it is mandatory to use a credit card...I would not own a debit card for many reasons and if I were you I would put that thing through the shredder tonight. If you are patient this will work itself out in due time.

I only ordered from them one time, but it was for 3 different items.

I don't think they had anything in stock, but they shipped each item one at a time. Even so, everything arrived fairly quickly.

Yeam it sucks. Wait til you buy something that is a specialty / no longer manufactured item. That's when it gets fun.....
