Splitter & Side Skirts Installed (pix)

The details: I purchased the fiberglass Vortex front splitter from QuikZ06 and side skirts from JWMotoring - both of which are upstanding vendors here, as most of you know. Both pieces are what I was looking for as I feel they are somewhat subtle and complement the rear SLP spoiler (RPI Designs).
The skirts don't infringe on ground clearance by more than about 1/4", if that much. Installation took one hour for both on a lift. The Vortex decreases clearance by just 2". The bottom of my nose is 6-3/4" from the ground, and with the splitter, it's 4-3/4". My car is lowered to the max on the stock bolts, BTW. The splitter took about two hours total, including about a half hour of pre-fitting prior to paint. We used a dozen nut-clips with stainless bolts and washers, and four original mounting points. Needless to say, this splitter is solidly mounted and won't be tearing out the front fascia any time soon. I decided not to keep the original side pieces of the air dam, but did retain the center section. I'm not concerned with increased water temps as I've already had the fans tuned to come on at 200* - I never see beyond 199*. Even without this, I doubt temps would get much hotter as there's very little restriction to the radiator, if any.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with the quality of these products, and would recommend them to anyone.
