Went for a long drive on A1A on the ocean today. Didn't get 1 single wave returned from more than 15 'Vettes (don't have an exact # since I started counting after about the third one). My wife said "you sure you guys are still supposed to be doing this"?
....in the beautiful MN sunshine.....lovely day for a convertible.
Only got one wave in, funny it was a yellow one but a C6. Drove past where outdoor mountain blues festival is going on this weekend. Beautiful day to be top down.
By the way I am a former Minnesotian, would love to drive around the north shore in my vette, one of my bucket list items.

I'm probably about 75% in getting a return wave from C2-C5 folks, but the average drops significantly from most C6Z06's I've encountered. Its unfortunate they don't realize they're part of a bigger club. Or maybe they have popup envy. Oh well, just keep tryin'.
Another nice day is on tap for today as well. Enjoy the season as fall's a comin...
I have probably waved a dozen times this summer. One wave back. It was a c5. The rest were C6's and one C4. None of them waved...
What is up with that?? I wave at every Vette I see. I get the same predjudices from other Vette drivers here in VA.. Just wave everyone it's not that hard to say hello.
It's a bad feeling to wave at every corvette and get ignored 75% of the time, but you know what, when you do recieve a wave (it's such a good feeling) it makes up for all the ones that don't. It's a feeling of brotherhood you share with corvette owners that knows
and respects another corvette regardless of the year or model. I will wave till I die!
