Thanks, I'm just asking if any one tried this on their own. This supplier includes installation cd and all the supply's to do it yourself. Looks pretty simple...
I installed a clear bra on the front bumper on my Corvette. Follow the directions and have a heat gun handy [or at the very least, a hair dryer],as it is necessary to get it right. It wasnt easy, but it is doable and it came out great. [Didn't cost any five hundred bucks either!!!!] Good luck!!!

Never have tried to apply any of the protective film to my cars. I have the 3M clear bra on my DD and my C5 and after watching the guy install it, no way I would try it (but that's just me).
I used to install ClearMask film... it is actually Ventureshield... uncoated. I do not install this film anymore because it is not coated. their other film... AeroGard is an aerospace grade film that has a very strong adhesive. A little too strong.
You would be better off going with VentureShield Ultra or Avery Nano Fusion. Either way this is not a do it yourself type of job. I have seen numerous clear bra shops that cant install film properly on a Corvette so I do not beleive someone without any experience can either. If you mess it up you wasted a few hundred dollars on film and are still at square one.
I agree with texas venom. Not a very good film and good luck installing without install marks, or trash under the film. What some consider an alright install that they installed themselves to save a little money, is much different from a true clear bra installer putting a quality film on your corvette. Many of the zo6 and zr1 full kits we install win car shows and people can't tell its wrapped in a clear bra material. The new xpel extreme is a great film! Most people order clearmask, can't install it, and then pay to have us install another kit. Good luck.
abc99, it depends what kind of results you want. For me, knowing I'm not in it for winning trophies or best of show contests; all I wanted is protection so that I can enjoy the drives and save some bux...I did it myself(and I'm disabled). People who know me have no clue its on there until I tell them. I even custom installed some pieces to the DRLs(i just replaced the DRL lenses, boy they get blasted!), gas cap door, sill foot traffic area, door handle cups, and wheel arch splash areas. The mirrors are not easy tho.
(keep in mind where relief cuts are for the bumper)
If you want show car results, get it done by pros that have theee most experience....be prepped for payment tho.
