Rearview mirror with compass????
I have a 2004 Z06 and I also have a 2006 Silverado. I get in the Vette and really miss the compass on the mirror. I am wondering if it is possible to just pick up the compass mirror and replace the one in the vette? I know the compass mirror usually comes with the temp, but the sensor would not be there, so that would not work. Since the temp is down on the AC controller I am ok with that. I just don't want to loose the auto dimming feature or the Map lights in the mirror on the Vette.
I am wondering if anyone knows if you can just add the mirror or, is there a compass sensor somewhere that would also have to be added, or is it part of the mirror? Any suggestion on a make and model vehicle that has the Compass, auto dim, and the map lights in the mirror would also be appreciated.
