I like some tints, and especially on silver cars BUT, The one thing I really hate is to not be able to see the driver. It is essential to see the driver of any car when lane changing and at intersections and other times when driving skills come into to play. It may look cool but it is just stupid when you are not able to make good driving decisions because you can not see the driver and know what each other is doing. Looks dumb to me.

Party pooper.........but......you're also right.

We rely on seeing and being seen to make safe decisions every time we are on the road. I like the look, but your point is valid.

When you get to the tint shop just ask for the darkest tint you can legally put on your car.

I have 5% on the black Vette and 15% on the Camaro.

From the outside they both look dark as heck and there's not a real big difference. From the inside though, the Camaro is much easier to see and drive around in, even at night.

I think they both look good from the outside, you can't go wrong with 20% like you're thinking. If I could redo it I would probably go 15% on the Vette, but it doesn't bother me too much because the tops usually down anyway.
