As the title says. The car starts fine when cold. The car also starts fine if I shut it off and then immediately start it again. It does not start well if it has been warmed up, shut off, and sits for a bit.
When I start it after sitting for a bit, it takes a number of "cranks" for it to actually "fire"... and when it does fire it doesn't feel strong. It sounds like it's grumbling, "fine, i'll start, but dont expect anything special... gimme a few seconds".
I've heard this could be the fuel injectors leaking? true? Anything else?
No supercharger on mine Cam, intake, heads, etc, etc. It's just embarrassing getting into this badass looking car only to hear it start like horse crap when it is warm and sat for a bit.
When the car is cold, it doesn't use the 02 sensors. They take a few mins to warm up. I assume you've looked at the intake couplings after the MAF. Does it throw any codes?
Have you checked the plugs to see if any are rich/lean?
Does it blow black smoke when it finally starts?
How long does it take before it starts running correctly?

It generally only takes somewhere around 5-10 seconds before it starts running correctly once started. I have not noticed any black smoke. I have not yet checked plugs or the intake couplings. The codes that are currently on (all History) are:
P0327 - PCM knock sensor
C1217 - TCS (stupid traction control )
C1282 - TCS (stupid traction control )
U1000 - SDM (i think this had to do with battery dying)
B0446 - HVAC (this has since been fixed and the actuator is not causing the error anymore)
I dont think any of that should be related to the starting issue.
I have found that it helps if I give it some gas when I'm starting it when it's warm.
Is your a/c on when you try to restart and it does this? Im having that problem. When I shut the a/c off befor shutting the car down, then the restart is fine. If I dont, the symptoms are like yours and the car takes a few tries and some feathering of the throttle to keep running. My car ihas a cam and all supporting bolt ons.
Once I drive it around with the a/c on it idles fine..... its just the restarts that are giving me grief.
