Default New message ?

Leaving work tonight I got a message I've never seen, it said that my warm up is now completed. I've had my car a little over 5yrs now and never have seen this, common or not? Thanks, L8R ZFLASH

First it would have said something like "Active Handling Warming Up". Mine has done that a couple of times.

It has to do with the way your front tires are turned and taking off fast right away.

I was just waiting for your smart *ss comment, you always seem to have few useless ones on here. Actually you might be on to something, when driving in the parking at 10mph, I was swerving around speed bumps. That would be the tires turning but not the speed part. Anyway, thanks as always Mr. Bill your comments are always welcome and most of the time either really funny or right on. L8R ZFLASH

My 04 Z06 did that last saturday morning. I almost always let the car warm up to full operating temperture before I take off but saturday morning I took off for a fuel econo run. I didnt go over 2000 rpms and was just a couple of miles from the house when the same message came up. I had read this can happen at times so I didnt worry about it. Glad you brought up this information cause I had forgotten about it till now.
BTW I got 29.716 mile to the gallon.
Thanks.

I have heard the part about the wheels being straight, but not the speed.

In any case it was your active handling, chapter 3 page 58 in your owners manual.

ACT HNDLG – WARMING UP: When you first start
your vehicle (especially during cold winter weather),
and begin to drive away (up to 6 mph (10 km/h)),
the message ACT HNDLG – WARMING UP may be
displayed in the DIC, the instrument panel cluster light
will be on, and a chime will sound. This is normal.
You can acknowledge this message by pressing the
RESET button. The Active Handling System
performance is affected until the next message
WARM UP COMPLETE is displayed in the DIC.
