Helped my buddy install the Pfadt 16-way adjustable shocks on his 01' Z. Now car sits at least an inch HIGHER than before, even after a few hundred miles of driving. These shocks work fine on my C6Z. Any thoughts about what the problem might be? Thanx.
Pfadt shocks are height adjustable, have you tried lowering the car using the collars? But I wouldn't bury it in the weeds - the best handling is not when you are ahrd against the stops.

Is he lowered and sitting on the bumpstops? If so, he may have smashed the bumpstops on the previous shocks? Gas pressure alone shouldn't hold the weight of the car up.

PM Sent. Our inverted sport shocks were designed as an OEM replacement that doesn't change the ride height, it's probably more of an issue with older shocks bleeding pressure over time and making the car appear to have a lower stance than normal. Now that the car is back up to the original ride height it looks a bit taller. Let us know if we can help you out with anything else!
