What you'll need is a heat gun or hair dryer, and some fishing line.
Heat the molding and the surrounding area of the door and fender.
Once you got a section of it warm to the touch use the fishing line to get under the molding and pull the line towards you. What your actually doing
is either breaking the bond of the foam tape adhesive or tearing through the foam portion. Either way, you continuing heating and pulling the molding away from the door. Once you got it off there may or may not be any adhesive left on the door. You can heat the adhesive up with the dryer and roll, push the stuff off until it's all gone. What i did also was dampen a rag with Naphtha , which is the same stuff as 3M Adhesive Remover, and wipe down the area where to molding was to make sure i got all of the remaining adhesive off of the paint. After that I washed the car and waxed it.
As long as you careful, take your time, and BE CAREFUL you don't burn the paint, you'll have those BSM's off in no time !

Hmmm, There are no clips on the side moldings.
When I did mine I used fishing line, Gloves and a heat gun and someone to help you.
Start with one of the small ones on the cove first, To make sure car hasn't been repainted.
Heat the molding and start to use the fishing line with a sawing motion and have the person helping pull up lightly on the bsm, That way it goes a lot faster.
After the molding is off, Use goo b gone to remove the left over tape, I used my thumb to rub it off and it went quick.
Mr.Bill
I took one of the small fender pieces off and it definitely left a mark. There was no evidence that the car has been repainted on that fender but all the goo gone in the world hasnt touched it yet. I had to put the piece back on.

This should get the molding off the car. Having a helper when you do this will make the job much easier. Once can use the heat gun/fishing line and the other can grab the molding and pull up as you go along. Good luck.
When I took mine off, I used a power washer like a water blade to remove the residue. Yes it was messy and complete overkill, but honestly would you expect anything else from me?
