Default SS Brake Line Installed

Well all done it took about 4 hrs New brake fluid and SS brake lines, this was probably the messyst upgrade ever. Wow the brakes now are Way better ,I feel that the brakes have more bite now , Big up's to TPS Motorsports for the brake lines, Oyea the old fluid was black as crap too, ..!









After I took the pics cleand everything up with degreaser and soap an water..!

I haven't done this on my C5 yet, but I did them on my MR2 and it was a HUGE improvement! I'll do them on the C5 when I switch to the TPS coated calipers

New lines look great - will have to put that upgrade on my wish list for a future project.

i put ss lines on my sport bike. that way I could use race fluid. I always had bad brake fade. Did an awesome job.

I run the Goodridge SS lines on all my cars....02Z,96GST & 03S2K.They work great and MUCH better pedal feel!

All were upgraded with Hawk HPS pads,Slot rotorsand Speedbleeders too!

Just finished rotors/pads/front ss brake lines/sways - Still have to do the shocks and rear ss brake lines. I have F45 suspension and the connection for the flex brake line is located behind the F45 gizmo. I need to do the bypass mod before I install Z06 shocks. (I didn't realize this when I started the project) I agree, maybe I'm a dummy, but it was messy for me as well and with the drama with the shocks I just didn't want to monkey around with that F45 crap in the back. At least I didn't let the master cylinder run of of fluid. Thanx Matt, I used your write up as a install and bleeding guide.

That F45 gizmo just unbolts with 2 screws I zip tied it up while I changed the rear lines..!
