About 10 yrs back, I bought a set of Fikse wheels with tires and TPMS installed. Recently one of the sensors died, so I ordered 4 from Tire Rack, since all are 10 plus years old.
I took the car to get the new sensors installed and when they broke down a wheel it appears that the old sensors were glued / epoxied to the inside of the rim. The sensor valve stem isn't compatable with the Fikse wheel.
The shop didn't want any part of glueing the new sensors in and the new sensors are not identical to OEM, so I'm a bit concerned if they will be compatible.
Any experience / suggestion for mounting the sensors in a wheel that wasn't designed to accept TPMS?
Any experience with the 99 TPMS sold by TireRack they are marked 315mhz. Did I get the right ones ?

I have Fikse wheels and they came off a 2000 C5 with sensors mounted correctly, I bought new sensors for my 2002 and no issues mounting them in the wheel at all.
Fikse FM10 wheels.
