Mine is like that. You have the dimming feature in your mirrors , and your driver's side is stuck on.
Try to turn off the dimmer in the rear view mirror and see if that goes away in the side mirror.
So far I have not investigated mine any further, other than verify that it is the dimmer that is stuck on it. My guess it's a bad sensor in the rear view mirror or the side mirror.
