I'm close to scoring a set of 2000 Magnesium wheels for my '98 coupe. The car has the standard painted 2000 silver 5 spokes on it right now.
Are the lug nuts the same ? And obviously just transfer the low tire sensors from wheel--->wheel correct ?
If they are in good shape, is $600.00 reasonable for them ?
And last question, they look good on some colors, and bad on others. Do you think they compliment a torch red coupe ?
A couple of years ago the magnesium wheels were getting higher prices than they are now, is $600 reasonable, yep. They should take the same lugs or any C5 compatible lug without issues. I'm using the lugs that were on GM Y2k's for my magn. whls, they are the chevy lugs with the plastic threaded covers. The tire monitors should work as well

The magnesium wheels were a $3000 option back in 1998 (RPO N73). They look especially good on Torch Red IMO. $600 is a really good price for a wheel that will fit perfectly on your car.....
Magnesium wheels on my 1999 Mag Red convertible - these are original to the car (although I believe one is a replacement as it is a slightly lighter shade and has a yellow "Magnesium" decal while the other three do not)

They do chip easily. Eckler's has the touch-up paint but it's $16.99. However, Dupli-Color touch up NG GM 507 Light Bronzemist Metallic (GM code 54 WA534F) is a perfect match. I picked some up at Pep Boys for $6.99.
