Default Cam package list - needed/not needed?

I've put together a list of part I think I need for a LS3 cam swap, minus seals and gaskets. Some of the parts are in the category of "might as well do it while your in there". Did I miss anything or am I going overboard? If so, what did I miss or what is considered overboard?

1: Cam (3 bolt)
2: cam gear (3 bolt)
3: ls2 tensioner
4: Timing Chain
5: Crank Bolt
6: Pushrods
7: Oil Pump (Melling High volume)
8: Trunion Rocker Arm upgrade
9: Valve Spring Kit
10: Lifters

Thanks for any and all input.

Mike

I think you have most things covered.

Only thing I could suggest since the crank pulley is off is to go with an underdrive pully.

Forgive my ignorance on the actual specs of the LS3 cam, but if memory serves, it's not too radical with low durations and not much lift. So much so, that dual springs/hardened pushrods aren't needed on the LS3, so why would they be needed here.

Secondly, if you are going through all that work, the LS3 cam seems a bit too little of an upgrade. Why not go for something bigger and more proven.

Edit:
Found the LS3 Cam specs:
204/211 .551/.525 117

LS1 Cam specs:
196/206 479/.467 116

If I was doing a cam, definately wouldn't go anything under 224/224 114. Seems to me a lot of money and work for very little gain.

I'm going to swap out the stock ls3 cam with a custom cam: 227/235 613/.623 113+3 LSA. Good point on the UD pulley.
