not sure if your area is covered or not, but you might want to check "cruisin style" magazine (on line) for their list of local area cruise ins and go check one out. also check out the events section of hemmings motor news also. usually if they are large enough (and feature a dj for the evening), they are usually pretty in touch with local car events in the area (like local shows). in addition find the local corvette club and make contact with them to see where and when they hang out and ask if you can stop buy to talk "cars". i'm sure you can find a wide variety of mods and exhaust options to "experience".
