Default Depo Lights install help!!!

I'm currently trying to install the depo projector lights on my 03 Z06, that I just got and I've got the front bumper off and the stock headlights out, but when I go to install the depo's nothing is lining up at all. Made sure the correct brackets matched up that came with the headlights to install on the bottom of the headlights. Anyone got any ideas?!? Ugh.

Wow, you're doing it the hard way, no need to take the bumper off to take the lights out. You can do it from the top, takes like 10 mins. If I remember correctly the Depo brackets are numbered so you can't really mix them up. However what I found to get them to line up perfect you may have to drill out the brackets widening the holes to give you room for adjustment. Hope that helps.

I attached all of the brackets "loosely" to the Depo's, then attached them to the vehicle loose as well. Then I slowly tightened each mounting point up, observing my body line gap throughout the entire process. It was very tedious, especially as I was on jackstands and didn't have the bumper off. With the bumper off, it would go much quicker.

I also had to drill some holes bigger to get them to line up..

These are some pics that I snapped today of the drivers side fitment. To me they are really off. I got my girl to hold the light so that it would be flush with the body panel. As you can see from the pictures they don't even come close to the factory mounting point.

Yea something is not right. I wouldn't expect them to be perfect but that is way too far off. The old set I had wasn't perfect but it wasn't that far off either.

Well thank you for everybodies help. I'm just going to return them and get my money back. It sucks because I really like the design.

Not to hijack but do these completely replace the OE assemblys? Such as if you were fixing a wreck would these work in place of the GM $$$ units? Thanks

Yes, complete removal of OEM, no parts re-used. Plugs into factory harness.
