sirius fiasco
Purchased a Starmate 5 yesterday. Won't work, tried many antenna locations, spoke to Pakistan once and then two women I could not understand, was put on hold for 20 minutes 3 times, finally canceled it this morning after another 20 minutes. Good riddance. "Your call is important to us." What has happened to this world?

Sorry to hear about the problem. I've been both a Sirius and XM subscriber for about 7 years now with 5 different receivers and have never had an issue with getting a signal or dealing with their customer service folks.
I suspect that it may be something else in the setup that's causing your problem - too bad their tech support hasn't been more helpful too you
You might check with the store you bought the Starmate from - they may be able to help.

I also have sirus radio and had issues untill I discovered the antenna jack was not plugged in properly..you may want to try this it is a very stiff connection and must be aggressively pushed into the base housing even though you think it is plugged in it is just on the edge. ( surprised me too) Good luck and sirus customer service is a long wait in my experience. Greetings, Rob
