Boy, you got the mod madness pretty bad. It's kinda fun, even though you know it's over the top. One comment though; I don't think white looks very good in the engine compartment. On the exterior, it's beautiful on a 'Vette, but under the hood....not so much, IMO.

I want the Air Bridge you have, i have found a couple on the forum used for around $100, but i need to get money sent off to a guy that bought some body panels that broke in shipping first. Another thing is my buddy painting the car is moving to Arizona in a few months so i need to get everything done that he will have a hand in first..
I found a guy selling some caps for $300 but i dont think i want to get corn holed like that right now.. Im doing Red carpet with my Mod red interior so red in the engine bay could work..
also i was leaning towards the Carbon side skirts and Carbon front lip but i like the Tiger shark lip too much so do i scratch the carbon side skirts as well??
I already looked into painting the seat backs. the holes for seat belts look like more of a task then i want to tackle. I am currently filling out an app to be sponsored by Corbeau and hopefully that will save me money on seat belts and more Suede material.. just depends on how much they want their name on it and where..
incase you were wondering im looking into some new ZR1 wheels in Comp grey 19/20
and a C6 Z big brake kit but thats down the road..
Jon
Surf the used parts for the airbridge. $100 is a sweet deal.
$300 for caps is quite a bit of $$. Get your buddy to paint them for a fraction of that cost.
I'd say the same thing for under the hood -- if budget is the biggest issue and you have an in with the painter, paint everything. Then find a motorcycle airbrush guy and do a little bit of custom work to set it off. How about a flaming jake skull with C5 eyes?
Heck, if you bought that carbon airbridge and painted it, you would have a real unique look to it! Don't think I've seen one like that.
You can still do a carbon front lip with the tigershark. Get ahold of Pete - QuickZ06. He has a carbon front lip that fits with the tigershark. I don't remember which one it is, but one works. He also has carbon side skirts.
...I think the Jake skull is a C6 thing to me (Not trying to start up a debate) but its like if a C4 guy drove by with C5 flags.. i would have a colorful joke that didnt flatter the car very well..

...The airbridge will be just what ever i can find a good deal on here in a month or two.

...I have seen his posts and its quality looking stuff but what i ment was I like the regular TS Front lip and will end up going with it instead of the carbon one. So if i dont have a Carbon Front lip do i buy the Carbon Side Skirts or just go with white ones?
Im still tight with my old Metal Shop teacher and the local high school metal shop looks like a scene from American Chopper.. 3 or 4 lathes and 3 milling machines, so i think im going to take a crack at the caps my self..
I sent a PM to the gentlemen at American Hydrocarbon about those Skulls line up that was mentioned.. Those look AWESOME but i dont want the image (Skulls) to be something off the shelf.. But i have a few ideas to run passed him on something custom.
Im going to get the Nitrous tanks mounted after i run to the hardware store for something to put in between the tanks and Aluminum mount.

I dont understand what youre showing me here? That guys car is AMAZING but i was talking about my dual tank mount setup... hes got the regular cheap mount that comes with a standard N2o kit..
I have the big over priced dual mount setup.. i will have a pretty picture here in a few hours.
Go with the white side skirts!!! I love the carbon fiber look but if the front splitter and side skirts are the same color as the car i makes them look like the are sitting on the ground where as a dark color gets lost just my thoughts pics we need pics

I found a vendor that has a set of simple ones that are fiberglass, but i have a buddy with an Import that bought "Fiberglass Side skirts" and our painter about blew a gasket because they need SOOOO much work.
Ok guys i put the weather striping on the tank mount today and got the bottles in... Whatcha think? and btw thats the Eaby (or was) billet dual tank mount that i added some aluminum plates to and drilled and tapped for amp mounts.
Thats pretty sweet!
i think im going to get the Vararam Air Bridge and some fiberglass smoothies and paint them white too... Call that good for now.. im spending way to much money on this thing
