I just replaced my worn down Kumhos with a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE 760 Sports. These are incredible tires. Extremely quiet much quieter than the Kumhos. I wanted to go with another set of Kumhos but it seems that they aren't made for the stock size ZO6 rims anymore,at least I couldn't find anyone who carried them. Researching the Bridgestones, these tires are rated higher than the Goodyear F1s, which surprised me. I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money this year on tires, so these turned out to be a great deal. In case anyone should be shopping for tires, especially under $800, these are worth a look. Does anyone have these tires on the forum?
I just installed a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE 760 Sports on my stock z06 wheels. I had a set of F1's on the car and the car rides alot smoother and has very little road noise. Great tire for a very reasonable price.
I just got the potenzas as well. Took it out today for my first test and they were real quiet and smooth. They road a lot softer than my f1's that I had. I had better traction and seemed to handle well in the rain.
I have the Potenzas on my '03Z (EB). I don't have much experience w/them on the 'Vette (title issues) but have other experiences w/a 330HP Saab 9000. I think, they use the same compound as Firestone Firehawks (Uni-T) and were always good in the rain. I preferred the tread design of the Firehawk - they were outstanding for high-torque acceleration and for braking. I've only driven the Z about 60 miles and I haven't had an alignment done to it yet, so until it gets properly registered and aligned I will not have much of a sample size.
Installed a set on my 02 Zback in November, probably about 10k miles ago. They are a great wet/dry tire. Lacking in the cold weather as expected as they are a summer tire.
