2001 Z06 with Tick master. Sitting with the key on,engine not running I can run though the gears with no issues including reverse. Start the car and its a diffrent story. Reverse is hard to get into and all the gears are notchy feeling. I changed the fluid in the master and no change. Sugestions?
DO NOT over adjust the Tick master. You can blow the slave or line to the slave. Don't ask me how I know...
Your pedal may sit lower - leave it there.
but if he is not extending it far enough to fully disengauge the pressure plate, he will need to adjust if farther. He states that he is getting a notchy/grinding shift and hard to go into gear. That indicates that the slave is not getting enough fluid to activate.
Sounds like it's time to fine-tune our kit's adjustment. From our instructions: "Start the car to test the system’s release. Once bled properly, the pedal should feel slightly more firm than it was originally. Test the release by going from neutral into first gear. If it doesn’t slip easily into gear, don’t force it! Adjust the length of the master cylinder rod in 1 to 2 turn increments until proper release is achieved. NOTE: do not adjust the rod more than is necessary to achieve and adequate release. If you do, damage to the pressure plate may occur. Fine tuning the adjustment can be done during the test drive. Adjust the clutch to achieve proper release at the RPM you shift during aggressive driving or racing."

Talked to RPM transmissions and they think the solenoid wires are swapped.
