Default Upgrading my shocks

i just puchased a set of the bilstein sport shocks, now my question is has anyone done these with out a lift and if so please give me a difficulty and estimate of how much time it should take/

That's the method I used. Very doable. Still was a real PITA to get the top nut off.

thats a good write-up and prcedure -- I had some trouble with the upper front nuts -- be sure to lube and trial fit them while the new shock is off the car - you need to be able to spin the nut on several turns when installing to expose enough of the shock rod to get that crescent wrench on to tighten.

Couple of notes on the procedure - I would not go through the hassle of using all those zip ties, just put a jack under the lower A and then unbolt the upper a-arm and it will swing away. Also the Billstien Sports have a hole in the top for a torx or hex, so the cresent witll not work. You can hold with needle nose pliers just be very careful.

Default Mc Rat method is GREAT

Did all 4 easily. Did have to jack up the rears ever so slightly, they almost slide right in. Fronts aren't bad and I did use the zip ties.

thanks for the input everyone, i used the zip ties and it was a slight pain but it was around 3 hours start to finish so not to bad, but thanks again guys it was greatly appreciated.
