Corvette tattoo

The tattoo thing is not for me, but to answer the OP's question : I would think through what your daily attire is, what you do for a living and what you do socially and decide how many people every day do you want to see it.
Outside of the bicep, inside of the forearm, outside of the ankle or back of the neck would give you some options on dressing that would either let it show or cover it up depending on your need.
Down side : As others have stated you might not have a C5 forever. Tats do not usually look better with age.
Up side : It is not likely that the C5 emblem will change
It is not likely that the C5 will end up symbolizing some awful thing you don't want to be associated with....so it's relatively safe from that perspective.Good Luck with your choice!

This post sure doesn't sound like it is comming from a hospital administrator, If so times have sure changed.
Once again "Stupid is as Stupid does"

I've heard that one before. I come from a family of Military Men, they all had/have tattoos bearing Military Branch/Units, including me, all fought in Americas wars, and all got noses turned up at them, as being trashy. I love looking at artwork of tattoos
.It's your body OP, do what you want.

on a semi serious note...I like tattoos and have a few... get one if you want it....you can always get it covered up with something different later on if you want...a jake tattoo sure beats a tattoo of an ex girlfriends name
