Are you asking will they ever drop below 10k, or are you saying that they will never drop below 10k?
I am planning on looking for a Z06 02-03 maybe next year as my second project, I would like to find one for 12-15k with high miles!
But that means my currant 01 vert will be worth that much less, it's hard to say what they will be worth as there are more C5s on the road than any other generation. They won't be going up in value for a while. Buy them now and hold on to them for 30 years!
The C5 will never sell below $10,000 regardless of miles if it is kept in good condition.
I totally agree, even though many say that it will never become a collector or be like a C1 2 or 3, I think that it will be exactly like them. If a C5 is cared for or reconditioned and is still around in very good condition in 10 to 15 more years it will be worth more than was paid for it and will keep climbing in value. Plan on keeping my 02 in pristine original (unmodded) condition until I can put historic tags on it and then have an awesome classic corvette. I got enough for my unpopular 75 coupe to buy my 02 because it was in near perfect original condition. That is the key to keeping their climbing value.

I don't think I can totally agree with that - I think a C5 with say 200K miles will drop below $10K in price even if it is in good condition. I know I wouldn't pay that much for the car.
