I think that sucks as I HATE thieves so would hope if anyone happened to by the very slim chance hear about this car, call our local law enforcement.
As I said, I hope I am not out of line posting this but I know if it was my Vette, I would hope other fans of these cars would be helping me out in getting it back.
I would just be sick, nice of you to try and help. One thing to have your house broken in and ransacked!! But to have two of your treasures taken and possibly destroyed!! We all have to work so hard for alittle joy and then this. Would bring back capital punishment for this.
I hope when they catch the thieves they get thrown into the everglades with gators!
I saw a TV interview with the warden of Angola Prison in LA. They have built a levee around the prison to try to keep the flood waters that they have coming. He's a big round man with the name Burl Waul I believe. He was walking with a reporter and when asked about beavers digging into the walls of the Levee he said he shoot anything that threatened those Levee's. But he said he's never shoot a gator. Even said they where his best friends. Yep !
And he tells all the new boys coming into the prison for a stretch, He said he tells them all that there's a chance, slim as it might be, that one of them might get past some of the guards, maybe over the walls even, but once out,. . . there's something they'll never get past, it them gators. Once they drag you down, just like you never existed. What a character. Ya gotta love American's !
Thats just really sad, to lose 2 babies at once. I hope they find the cars and still intact. A freind of mine had a custom chevy impala stolen and 4 years later it was found in another state in a salvage yard stripped, and headed to the crusher. He lost big time on the car but at least he had closure and he says that meant so much to him.

Scare tactics. I've been in the areas of the Mississippi surrounding Angola plenty times and there's few gators in em.
I'll bet those cars are either chopped up or on their way out of the country. Sad.
agreed. with all of those ports nearby...it wouldnt take much time to load them in a cargo container and ship them to europe. thats been happening like crazy. mostly to tuners/suvs though.
