Not being a young stud muffin like the OP, and I drive a 13 year old beater.....I get almost no attention at all. The only attention I get is from dogs that want to take a leak on my tires.

I stay so focused on what's in front of me and other traffic, I very seldom see anything else. At my age, the grandmothers would only be interested anyway, and their watching their grandkids.

same here, cut spring civics with obnoxious exhausts are the only people that notice mine. Of course here on the space coast of FL you cant swing a dead cat without hitting 12 C5s. There are 3 on base here exactly the same color as mine. After going out to the wrong car one day, I put GS stripes on. My C3 gets attention only because it is a vert, has open sidepipes, and one of the few chrome bumper ones around.

That is, unless I'm driving my wife's Miata. That gets the girls' attention.

I do get a lot of looks, most the time kids or younger guys. Girls next to me don't even look over. I almost imagine it's slightly intimidating. However, I don't care if girls don't pay attention. I like to stay off the radar with my possessions.

Plus NOT telling a girl you have a Vette then if you have game and close the deal anyways when they do see it it's the cherry on top

99.999% of girls don't give a crap about cars. I do get at least one or two people per day giving me a compliment on the Z06, and they are always dudes, whether they be young kids or older gentlemen. The only girls that have said anything are the 2 old ladies who work at the gas station I stop at every morning for coffee on the way to the office. "Ooooh, what a pretty little sportscar." LOL



I have owned many sports/muscle cars over the years, and the only car that got more compliments than the Z was my '94 Turbo Supra. That car DID get compliments from girls, though.
