Went on a cruise night last night and had a conversation with several other vette owners of each generation , C3,C4,C5,and C6, and most agreed that the C5 is the easiest model to maintain, to find parts for, and most owner friendly. Also agreed that its economically friendlier to the owner. No argument last night. Just civil conversation which is how it should be. Thought id share.
They have just enough technological advancements in them but still maintain simplicity. All the little extra creature comforts are just all the things more to go wrong with them in the future. For example, I LOVE C6Z but
just something minor to maintain would be the nav systems in the 2lz. Needing updating once a year. Nothing major but just saying. The more basic things are the better but the advancements made from C4 to C5 make the more dependable IMO

I think the C5's are cake and much easier than the C4's. If your intimidated by electronics you wouldn't agree of course, but in my opinion C5's are pretty well thought out and fairly simple in construction.
