Thank you so so much...I think I will definitely go for a more functional setup rather than the stretched look I posted earlier. Leaning towards the C2Ks to be different and not bite off Bill
Bill your wheels are satin black with the powder clear correct? How much did they charge you for that finish?

You're welcome.
That is correct, not sure how much they cost me, it was almost 3 years ago I bought them. The website says the finish adds $450/set.
I personally like the look of the two tone (especially classics) with exposed hardware/bolts but do a search for Fikse, CCW SP20's and others and you'll see quite a few C5's with this style rim in the polished look. One of my top 2 favorite styles.
So on Tuesday I ordered a set of Classics, and that was just enough to make my decision. Immediatly after ordering I couldn't stop thinking Bill's C14's and finalyl convinced myself to change my order.
Bill with your new tire sizes do they sit about flush at the top of the fenders or is there some poke?
Same question with your last set of tires?
I don't plan on tracking the car for at least a year or so, i've come across a deal where the PS2s in your old size will be a little cheaper than RIIs...at this point visually what looked better with your drop

Congrats, I'm sure you'll be very happy with them once you get them mounted.
Both sets of tires sat flush with the fenders, even though one was 315 and the other 305, they seem about the same actual width. They don't stick out and never rub, even with my car slammed on coil overs.
As for which looked better, that's a tough one. It's two very different looks. For most people, the lower profile PS2s were probably more attractive, especially for car shows and stuff. But, I think the RIIs give the car a very purposeful/track-ready appearance, which I like. Also, for me, the RIIs were more of a necessity due to my lack of traction with the 427. With my old 470rwhp heads/cam setup, the PS2s were perfect and had plenty of grip.
Enjoy the new rims, the wait is going to suck. Looking forward to seeing them mounted.
