Default Appearance Suggestions Wanted!

I was fortunate enough to pick up this Z06 a few months ago. Performance-wise it is exactly where I want it to be other than the tires, but I am starting to focus on the appearance. I have some ideas in mind, but am new to the Corvette game. The windshield banner is gone, and I'm lowering it next, so don't bother mentioning those two. Also, the euro tails are staying (regardless of how controversial they are).

What are your suggestions, appearance-wise, for the car?

Any suggestions for wheels?

I'm a big fan of SP500s, but I feel like everyone has done it.

Tint and a set of SP510's, I have them on mine powder coated Satin Black (look gray) and I have had many, many, many comments on them. You can get them powder coated to whatever color you want and then you will never have to polish them. Yes the pattern is different but it's not weird to where the car looks ghetto, and they work very good on the track too.

Or if forged are not in your budget, you can try some Ruff Racing wheels.

Man, there are so many choices out there. After hours of research I just went with these Ruff Racing R280 Blk w/machined lip (2" front, 4" rear). Nitto 555's 285/30 on 20x10, 245/30 on 20x8.5. $2200 Delivered with the TPMS sensors.

These wheels look great in person I will add. Saw them back in April here in OK.

I would suggest halo tails, but you like the Euros.

LED lighting in the license plate area is a nice C5 upgrade

Forgot to mention, but if you want to stay OEM with your Z wheels but want something different this was the look I had on my '03 Z and what I would do if I got another Z.

Default search

Go back and search so you can see pictures:

Easy Ones: Tint Windows
Tint Lights and consider replacing taillights
Paint rear portion black
Consider wheels - check out there are some nice ones
presently for sale on the fourm
Tiger Shark Front
Check out the different rear fins available

Set up a plan so you are not spending foolishly

Good luck - it just won't end.

Those SP510s look really nice. I'll look into them some more. They're not too common.

Thanks JW. I'll pick up a set of those. I'm also going to grab a set of clear corners, and LED bulbs and harness for my euros.

Thanks Doug. I'm either going to replace the Z06 wheels, or leave them the same. I like black wheels on a lot of cars, but not on EB. I would like something silver or polished.

Tint: Will do
Replaced tails already
Paint rear: not a bad idea - will consider
Still have to make up my mind on wheels
Not a huge fan of the Tiger Shark front.

Not too sure what rear fins are...care to elaborate? I do want to pick up a new Specter Werkes rear facia if that's what you're referring to.

Awesome suggestions so far!

Tint for sure, but keep the wheels. The ones you have are probably the lightest best performing wheels you can put on your car.

You could consider a brake upgrade, but again, the stockers are very good.

New wheels (CCWs would look great), tigershark front/rear fascias, MCM style hood, custom interior (Vette Essentials or something like what they offer), etc. Possibilities are only limited by your wallet.
