Default 1st timer needs help on cover

I'm looking for my first Corvette and I don't have a garage and I live in Canada so for the summer I figure that I can use a car cover during the weekdays when I won't drive much. I'll be getting a C5 targa top or a C5 convertible. In the late fall I will rent a parking spot in an underground parking garage. Anyone know of a good cover that will protect from the rain?

-I hope I'm allowed to go off topic-

On another note how much, in either CAN or US funds, would you expect to pay for a 2000 C5 convertible with 137,000km/ 90,000 miles with vararam intake, Z06 rims, headers, Granatelli catback, X pipe, freshly painted front end from a little fender bender repair, automatic with some scratches and some chipping on edge of driver side door?

Since the car is from a different website I realize this question might not be appropriate so I apologize in advance, just hoping for some feedback.

To R. Miller:
Okay, 12,500... Do the after market parts factor into the price or is stock preferable?

To midnite:
Thanks, that's a reasonable price. You leave it out in the rain?
Are there many used covers available? Is it worth it to just buy a new one?

I do not reccommend a use cover unless you know how it was maintained, your car is an investment why chance a used cover
I have covered my car outside but ususlly keep it in my garage with the cover because the cover I bought is for indoor and outdoor It is called the Noah

For the car cover, check out places like Mid-America or West Coast Corvettes. They have a lot of different covers for various uses (i.e., indoor/outdoor).

You're right midnite. I will skip the "used car cover" idea. So I'm looking at about $200 for a decent car cover? Sounds good, cheers

I use this when mine's outside - I use a hockey stick with a hole in the blade to slide an elastic tie-down underneath the car to keep it from flappin around.
