Update: I talked to the guy, and he said it has 110,000 on it, but that it still runs very strong. He also said that it has a clean title. From what I've read though, 110 isn't a lot for an ls1 engine as long as its been properly maintained.

How much do you think you guys think it's even worth in this market? 10-11k is about right and he may just want to get rid of it for the price it's a 99 ls1 with over 100k.lol. What did you guys think 15k-20k? Most can't get that for 01-04 low mileage.

Do some surching on here. Get all the info you can. Learn how to pull up the codes on the dic. Then go drive it, it may very well suprise you. Mine has almost 140,000 miles and it runs very good. Don't go buying it thinking it don't need anything, you WILL find it needs something. It don't have to be exspensive. Tires aren't cheap for these cars. Don't cost nothing to go look at it. You may have just found a very good deal.
Yeah, the only thing left to do is go drive it, and get an inspection done. I already know how to pull the codes, but I'll have to print something out to see what they mean. I'll probably end up recruiting the help of 0331Marine, up there. Thanks for all the input.

Go and look at it and drive it. What do you have to lose? It very well could just be a seller who isn't in tune with the market pricing and simply wants to get rid of it quickly without a lot of hassle. Just don't get attached to it and always make sure you are able to walk away. Definitely don't buy it though without a history report and without thoroughly inspecting it. Keep us posted and let us know what you find. Good luck.
Ive developed this cliche` over many years of experience ( 67 years )... here it is " I can not afford to buy anything that is too cheap."
When something is too cheap or too good to be true, it usually winds up costing you more in the long run than something that is more in tune with a logical price.
