Wow....nice stable you've got there.
Beautiful C5 and sorry, but it's way better looking than yer C6!
(you should expect that in C5 Gen )
It's all way cool......glad the little woman finally saw the light.....
Thanks for sharing.

It's funny - neighbors have seen the two Vettes in our garage or driving in and out of the neighborhood, and more than one (jealous neighbor) has commented along the lines of, "Wow, it must be nice to be able to afford two Corvettes".
What they don't realize, and it's none of their business anyhow, is that we got these cars at great prices. In fact, probably a whole lot less than they paid for their cars. I got my '05 with 4k miles last year for $24,000. My wife got her '04 with 85k for only $16,500. In fact, one of the reasons she got hers was because by replacing her previous leased car with the Vette she was actually able to lower her payment by over $100 a month.
And, to you guys who think hers looks better than mine - I secretly think you're right. The C5 has a classic look that will stand the test of time. It's probably the most beautiful car GM has ever built.
I will however, should she ever be foolish enough to challenge me, kick her butt all the way from the starting line to the traps.

The only permanent solution for this problem if the clamps are not holding them in place is to have them tack welded in a couple of places under the clamps after you set them correctly. Do just enough to hold them together, but easy enough to break them loose if you need to.

I know. Would love to, but it's her DD so that would just be eventually asking for trouble. Plus, the airdam already scrapes the end of the driveway when she backs out.
One mod that I would love to do, but she won't have any of it, is a Corsa Touring exhaust. Not loud, but just enough to bring out the "Vette" in it. One of the first things she said when we were talking about customizing was, "Now don't you go doing anything to make my car loud like yours".
"Yes, dear."

I love it, of course I'm a little bias. It does look a little familiar though. This: To this: Great looking cars, and let her make hers hers. L8R ZFLASH
