Thanks, RSchleder. I use Maguiars Hot Shine Tire Coating. However that is only the half of it.
The key is to start with a tire that is as clean as possible before you dress it. To do that, I always scrub my tires with a hard bristle brush; using the soapy water from the last time I washed the car ( in a different bucket of course) and applying baking soda as I go along. Just sprinkle baking soda on your soapy brush and srub a little and rinse. When the tire is dry, take a durable paper towel or rag and wipe the tire free of any remaining tire dressing residue.
Really cleans and preps the tire well before drying and applying the Maguiars Tire Spray. Give that a try next time and you too will be impressed with the results. Economical too.
I chnged my 1998 from wagon wheels to OEM High Polished Thin Spokes, I agree that they are GREAT looking wheels. They really show off the rotors and calipers !
