Today I removed the badly damaged headliner and added additional 3M strip caulk to both sides of the interior to resolve a remaining water leak.
Thanks to everyone who has participated at Corvetteforum.com, and those posting Youtube videos, I have been able to get through a variety of repairs on the Lemon, which is a new-to-me neglected stock 2003 Z06.

Successful repairs or tasks over the last 6 weeks:
-Air filter replacement and reattachment of the right side clip (unbelievable, it was in the trunk).
-Headlight gear replacement, left side. Right side seemed to be free of wear.
-Low beam bulb replacement, went with 9006 Sylvania (? forget...not 9005.)
-Headlight switch/Multifunction removed and contacts dry-cleaned with a micro-swab (black material removed, tension was good).
-Battery replaced, decided to go with a Red Top Optima rated as 110 vs the AC Delco which was rated 90 (this change did not fix anything).
-RFA module replacement (looks fine internally but causes NO COMMS on all systems when connected), this repair included undoing previous work where the pink wire had been removed from the Star Connector.
-Trunk latch/actuator replacement.
-Trim & Weatherstripping removal and re-seal, driver & passenger sides, 3M strip caulk and Permatex Weatherstripping sealant (yellow).
-Headliner removal (replacement goes in after thorough leak checking), includes sun visor removal.
-P0300 troubleshooting resulting in temporary replacement of a spark plug, right side, next to firewall. It was intermittently 1/4 turn loose, for about 600km or more. Went with NGK 7397 iridium 40 gap until garage trip.

Garage trip is upcoming where, hopefully, new balancer (small wobble) & associated, new valve springs, new plugs and wires, and new fluids.
There are a couple more items on the todo list, but that is a tale for another day...

A revealing photo, but not what you wanted:

I just finished installing some Noinco sound deadener and a Vettenuts premium insulation kit in my trunk.

The Kooks 3" X-pipe that I bought has some resonators added to it. Whoever added them did a crummy job, and they weren't level, nor were they even. We cut, leveled, and rewelded them so they are perfect, and then started fitting my new LG Motorsports Big 3" exhaust...

Installed a set of C5 Fangs.

Found some spots that need cleaning too.

I just received my Fangs and I have to ask, Did you need to remove the 4 bolts holding on the middle air dam?

The two on the ends removed all the way out, but the two in the middle just loosen but don't need to be removed completely. Whole process took minutes.

Lmk how you like the fit and sound of that exhaust. I strongly considered going with it myself. Is it 2.5 at the flange where it meets the X pipe, then flared out to 3.0?

Looks great btw!!

The exhaust comes "short" and includes 2 sets of extensions to mate up to the X-pipe. A 2.5" bolt-up set and a 3" weld-on set. We are using the weld-on set because my X-pipe is straight 3" piping.

If you would be interested, I am selling the custom 3" axle-back system I bought from another member here. 3" mandrel-bent, with 3" Borla ProXS mufflers. Sounds deeeeep and throaty. Like the Stinger sound, but in 3". You would need to either make a custom 3" X-pipe or modify what you have so it bolts to this. I reeeeeally wanted to use it, but because of the design, it will interfere with my big rear swaybar and spherical end links. It will be fine with a stock swaybar or a bigger bar with stock end links.

I see. That's an interesting way for them to go about it. I pretty heavily considered the Kooks 3 inch with black tips as well as the LG Big3.

I currently have a Kooks 3 inch X pipe that tapers down to 2.5 at the rear installed, but I also have the back half of a Kooks 3 inch x pipe so I'm prepared to go either way. I appreciate the offer, but I have to pass. It does sound and look great though.

We're doing a custom axle back in a couple days. I have to get my diffuser on and my wheels/tires as well. The tips I ordered showed up today, wheels/tires are supposed to deliver tomorrow. Time permitting it will be done before the weekend. Hope, hope.

EDIT: Looking at that exhaust again whoever built it did a really nice job, v bands and all. I like it.

Reglued the weatherstrip on the drivers door.

Removed the tint on the front and side windows.

Washed her up too.

That would be good, but keeping the car in a relatively stock config is more inline with how I use it. And then there is the cost.

It's out now, I'll be opening it up today to see just what the damage is. Maybe like my ZF box a bolt back out of the shift fork. Maybe not...

And yes, that's a skateboard I'v had since my youth working for me now as a rolling jack stand.
