Well, despite it reaching 98 degrees outside today, I managed to finish my dream tail light project. Euro lamps, sanded smooth and tinted with auto paint (tinted base coat and two coats of clear), plug and play Euro harness from Casper Electronics, Cree LED bulbs from Radioflyer, hyperflash harness, and tail light seals. Very happy how bright these are through the tint. I don't think I can link my Facebook video here, but I screen captured a couple frames. It isn't even dark out in these pics. Just after dusk. The bulbs shine nicely through tinted auto paint...

I installed a 2004 valley cover/PCV system in my 2002 Z06. I wanted to eliminate the external PCV valve to clean up the hoses and clamps going to the catch can. Also, just wanted to replace the PCV valve with an genuine GM valve. Seeing that the GM valve cost about $100 which is the same price as the 2004 valley cover, I went with the valley cover.
Got to get a peek of my cam lobes and they still look nice with 98K miles on the clock.
Old valley cover removed
Original timing chain and front cam lobes.
Rear cam lobes.
2004 Valley cover installed. This also shows the LS1 steam tube that I added. Remove ribs under the intake manifold and massaged the tube but it fits just right. I have a Heatsheild Products I-M shield between manifold and valley cover.
Install and re-assembly finnished. Nice and clean. Original PCV hoses had about 8 hose clamps total.

I still have to install my smoked/clear front lamps, but it was freaking hot today, so whatever. And I still need to take the ugly stainless letters off. Went for a drive, though...

Thank you sir! I ordered mine on Feb 13th I think. I didn't receive them until May 23rd. I think I was quoted 6-8 weeks when I ordered so you may need to be prepared for delays.

Yeah, unfortunately, they are good quality stainless inserts that came with the car. Trying to take them off without screwing up the paint is the goal. They are perfectly flush with the bumper, so it is impossible to get dental floss in there. Trying a hair dryer and some adhesive remover this week.
My stock bolts are maxed. I want the rear down 1/2" more, and the front a full 1". Coilovers are next year's project, so I may just get a Zip bolt kit for now.
We need to lower our cars...
