Default Carlisle Sticker

Just got my funfest sticker today. It says sticker must be placed on windshield for entrance. So do any of you actually stick it to your window??? Not crazy about the thought of any sticker on my vette.

If you don't put the sticker on yourself, they'll do it for you at the gate.
It's no big deal as they come off fairly easily.

I am sure that if you take it off right after the event is over, it won't cause any problem.

Mine came off with no problem last year after an 1100 mile drive back home...

They won't let you drive in if it's not attached to your windshield. It's not a big deal, as others say it comes right off. Besides, if you've never been there before you'll feel the camaraderie as you see so many other Vettes displaying their sticker, too! Thousands, actually!

Got mine yesterday, I usually hand it to them at the gate when I pull in and let them place it on the windshield. Been known to leave it on till the next club meeting before removing it :-)

I got my sticker yesterday also. I agree they are easy to remove. Does anyone know what the number designation means? I saw mostly low numbers posted but mine was 18xx.

Got mine too but instead of a number it says "Carlisle Blue Display" since it will be on display at Gate 3.

I believe those are sequence numbers, unique to each entrant. Being on the Fun Field, you are subject to the Celebrity Judging. If a judge has selected your car as the one he/she likes the most, you receive a plaque. The numbers will tell the committee/judges who owns what car, and let's them know how many cars to expect on the field.

Thanks for the feedback. Then the numbers aren't assigned spaces, just how they were issued in sequence. Makes sense because at previous other shows I attended at Carlisle you weren't assigned a spot unless you were part of a particular club.

The number just identifies the sticker issue sequence. If you registered as belonging to a club or organization, then there is a capital letter on the sticker identifying that club - that letter corresponds to the parking area set aside for that group. See Carlisle map:
