Default best performance for my A4?

ive been debating this for awhile and i finally have money to get some go fast parts. im not sure which way to go. been thinking i can do a bigger cam and heads intake then spray it.. or just throwing on some ported LS6 heads/intake and supercharging it.. im making 383 rwhp 352 rwtq on a A4 with just a really small cam right now. i think i would be happy with 450ish and 400 at the wheels with spray or a equivalent with a supercharger.. anybody have any ideas for me? cost:power ratio?

the price you pay for heads cam spray .... you could be in a P1 procharger and have more power!!! I started off with h/c and made 450rwhp and i was not even close to being happy right off the bat and wish i had went supercharged instead.

Long tubes, exhaust and spray should get you there for alot less than heads, cam, and supercharger.

How reliable are these superchargers in comparison to a HCI setup? I would think the HCI setup could take far more of a beating and street abuse compared to boosting the engine on stock internals over the longhaul.

If it were mine, I'd go with the supercharger. Your stock engine should handle it as long as you don't go too wild.

England Green Mayhem II Cam with a A&A Supercharger. You'll notice on the graph the two different Dyno lines, 1st was with just the cam, 2nd is with both. Your $$$, you choose! Good luck and have safe fun. L8R ZFLASH

To add to what you already have, a 100-shot, a 3600 yank convertor and a trans cooler.

4:10 gears and a high stall converter will wake up that A4. Remember too, when you start making more HP, that stock A4 is not going to last long. Might want to look a RPM stage V tranny and a cooler.

It might of been because of the headers, rear gears, or that England Green is just that good L8R ZFLASH

The guy that previously owned my car wasnt exactly sure, but said mine dyno'd at 388 rwhp. I have Aftermarket heads, headers, no cats, full corsa exhaust, vararam, fast 90, ls2 tb, everything port and polished, and a lopy cam, 3.42 gears, 3000 stall yank.

he might have been wrong about the numbers, or just a really bad tune.
