Anyone handicapped doesn't belong in one. The reason for the parking spot is easy access to the building and such. There is nothing easy about getting in and out of a corvette. That being said if u can get your happy butt in and out of a corvette then you really aren't disabled and should maybe save the spot for someone who actually needs it
So you are saying a handicapped person doesn't deserve to drive a Corvette? Shame on you. For your info My Corvette is my daily driver; I have severe arthritis and several hip replacement operations; There are lot's of physical activities I can no longer do, but I can still drive an athletic car and autocross it well; this sort of makes up for my other physical limitations. And by the way yes it's more difficult for me to get in and out of my Corvette but worth it. Grow up kiddo.
What self respecting Vette owner would eat at the Olive Garden. Seriously, franchise food from non-Italians sucks. Yes, I now see the irony of a Vette being parked at OG. That makes sense.
I've got a handicapped dealio that would fool everyone.
My wife is 30% disabled. Due to an illness, she lost her adrenal glands. Consequently, she can fatigue quickly on long walks. She is issued a handicap parking permit. Let me add she's drop dead good looking, appears to be fit, and likes to drive the Vette.
If she got out of the Z06, handicapped parking tag on the rear view mirror, and parked in a handicapped spot, an unknowning person would call the parking lot police to bust her.

My mother had a heart attack and had a handicap plate, I have a friend with a vett has I leg is a Vietnam vet has a handicap plate and owns a Corvette. So you believe they should not have a Corvette.
"it is better to remain silent and be thought of as a fool, than open your mouth and remove all doubt."
I agree! Did you happen to look and see if perhaps there were hand controls or such inside the car?? Maybe a spouse that is handicapped? If there was no handicapped tag I would have a problem with it.My lil bride was gravely ill recently and we had to use a handicapped placard so she could get around. If you would have dared to say a single word to me at that time you would have found yourself with a fat lip!
So because the person drives a vette means they are not handicapped and should'nt park there, if that vehicle was a focus you would'nt say a word? c'mon man grow up.
Maybe its.prejudice towards handicapped people. A few months ago I received a copy of Corvette Magazine and there was a story about a gentleman who had a yellow C6 that was rigged with special equipment so this gentleman could enjoy his vette. He was handicapped. I also see vettes often with handicap plates, usually driven by elderly people. So this picture this guy submitted, unless there is something in the background that I missed ,seems like a waste of time.
So just bc he/she is handicapped. They're supposed to give up on their dreams? You flippin idiot! You're just plain ignorant! I hope you get what's coming to you soon.
This reminds me of my first race weekend this year at Carolina Motorsports Park...
I was walking up to timing & scoring to see how I qualified... and I saw this older guy with a walker basically coming down to some cars in the paddock where they were parked. I first assumed he was there to just watch the action and be around all the racers. So I kept watching him and what I saw next made me Not only did he own a new Porsche GT3... he was running it in HDPE 3! I thought wow... that is so cool! I didn't get to catch how he was doing out on the track, but from what others told me... he was pretty quick
Turned out, this guy had a hotel room just down below where I was staying. I helped him out getting his stuff into his car cause I knew it would get him to the track faster. Oh yea, he had a handicap plate on his car and well deserved. But it was neat to see someone like that get out and enjoy something like that.
