Default Ecs refund

Subject: ECS Customer Service/Support Question

REMOTE IP: 174.49.154.56

############# End Formmail Tranmission #############

Hi Larry and good morning. Thank you so much for the feedback. We just don't
hear back from that many people and it is so helpful when we can get any
advise to do better for our customers. I will speak with Doug regarding
maybe a check sheet we can add so the customer knows exactly what was done.
And if you are not happy with the difference please let me know so I can
issue you a full refund. We want to make sure each and every customer is
100% satisfied with our services. Thanks again for your feedback, it is very
much appreciated. Any questions at all just let me know.

Thanks for the quick and cordial reply. I'm glad you're considering my
>advice on the worksheet. It sure would give us (customers) a better idea on
>what work was done. A before and after sheet with what was and what is now
>would give us a better idea of what we could gain with future mods.
A simple generic check off sheet for all perimeters available for A4 & M6
would suffice. Plus any thing we would have to do after the tune would also
help, that is, for instance re-sync key fobs.
As far as a refund is concerned, because you did change some settings, but
the overall performance gain was very disappointing, a refund of half would
make me very happy.
Of course your offer of a complete refund is very generous and sure proves
that you do indeed care about your customers and will surely be posted in my
next post on the Corvette Forum. Again, my thanks for your professional and
honorable way of handling this situation.
Larry

This is my correspondence with ECS regarding my mail-in tune. I will let you know when I get my refund.

Talk about top of the line vendors and people, read this:

Hi Larry, The refund should be to you by probably Monday or Tuesday.. I did
it yesterday for the full amount. I want to thank you for working with us. I
do wish you were happier with the tune but the way I look at it if you are
not completely happy I want to refund the whole amount.. Thanks again for
all your helpful tips. They are very much appreciated. I wish we had more
customers like you.. Have a great weekend..

Great your getting a refund, props to ECS, but why are you posting this? Makes no sense. You couldve said ECS has stand up customer service. I wouldnt have posted up that the performance gain was disappointing. Especially since you did not get a refund yet.

I posted to show Corvette Forum members what a standup company l=acts like.
As far as the disappointment in the tune, that was partially my fault. The original post that was started by another member, ask the question if a mailin tune was worth the money on a stock C5 M6. The vote was split so I took the chance. I did not ask for a refund, it was offered by ECS. I stated that they did change some perimeters so half refund would make me happy. They very graciously have credited my card the full amount.
I don't know why you are trying to make something negative out of a very positive experience.

Not the place to post about a refund. Keep it in PM unless you have a problem.

You only posted that you were getting a refund not that you received a refund. Lack of information and left to many questions open.
