Dim HUD
I've read the threads on the dim HUD display where it doesn't go to bright in the sun. Even tho the brightness control is all the way up, the display stays at a constant somewhat dim level. According to the following posts: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...matically.html
The light sensor is there on all of them. The sensor on my '99's had issues and resoldering it didn't do anything so I replaced it with a new HUD which is still working several years later.

Thanks for the replies. I don't wear sunglasses, so that isnt the problem. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something to do with the IPC before replacing the HUD.
