I love my 228r cam, makes great power. In fact it made so much HP & TQ I'm not even going to post the numbers.

Hey Paul! I had Texas Speed & Performance pull my HPTuner file and listed the mods on mine. They just completed a tune on a 99 C5 with same mods and said it will make over 412rwhp! Certainly has more pop than before.

I was going to go with the 228r but ended up going with a street sweeper ht and I loved it. Good street manners and still did good at the track.

Rick, I hit 429 with mine. But I also had a new clutch and new PS2 tires. Everything helps when on the dyno.

My 228R cam with the PRC 5.3L Stage 2 heads and XSP headers hit 439hp/403tq.
