Very nice! Sweet looking car and good modest mods that really do add, not detract from the looks.
If you are like me, you are NOT going to regret this move. I'm happy every single day for having this car and being the one that gets to drive it. I'm like four and a half years into owning mine.
Take good care of it and enjoy it together.....I know you will.
Welcome! Now what will your first mod be? Come on, you know you're already thinking about it
Well I don't know if this qualifies as a mod but I bought a set of the stainless steel screws that Corvettemods1 sells on this forum. I like nice details like that, but no plans to get to crazy on this car...frankly it's already fantastic beyond any car dreams I ever had.
I am open to suggestions but we shot the budget for now...
Sweet car... and it looks immaculate. I just got my first Vette about 2 months ago. It clearly was not taken as good care as yours was, but the timing was right-ish and it fit my budget. What would have cost $50 to ship a new fender actually cost over $600 to get all the way to Okinawa. But it's done and there's no broken fender with zip ties holding it together anymore. My lifting pucks arrived last week and I did my first oil change on the lift this past Sunday. Once I can get the locking lug nuts removed that I have no key for, I can bleed the brakes... My first "mods" are a tunnel plate because the armrest console gets piping hot after driving a while and an audio system installation.
I've found a TON of useful info on this forum about this car, mostly applying to fixing what's wrong and mods/upgrades that I want to do when I have time/$$ for them. Very happy this resource and it's generous contributors exist. I'm sure you'll agree if you spend any time here. So there's my long-winded welcome from another new guy on the 'Vette block. Cheers-
