I personally run Stoptech ST60 (front) aqnd ST40 (rear), BUT the stock Z06 calipers work fine for T1 race cars....as long as you change them out say, once a season due to hi-temp spread, leading to pad taper. On the other hand, Gary Hoffman at Hardbar now has a AP caliper kit that is (as of this year) legal in T1, and everyone is using that kit. SO....if you are a HDPE guy, use the stock caliper with race fluid (Castrol SRF) and race pads (say PFC-01 or DTC-70, with cooling).....but if you are a hardcore racer (wheel to wheel) then upgrade to Gary's (Forum vendor) AP racing brake kit.......................Oh, and check on the Autocross and Roadrace board before you post here, OK? There are LOTS more very knowledgable members to guide you about race issues there.

i ended up buying cross drilled and vented rotors with the evolution pads on here from a vendor for 180.00 shipped to my door!! i was at first a little hesitant but damn they really do the job over stock rotors and pads and the evolution pads do not sqeek/squeal at all like i thought they would after driving around in hot days. last two months its been 80-90 degree weather everyday here in chicago and they held up great. id personally buy them again if need be. look on the sale section on here the thread is called like kinetic rotors and pads for 179.00 or something like that. heres some pics of when i was installing them as well.. for 180.00 shipped to yopur door you cant beat that for a full set of front/rear rotors and pads!!
