I have had my C5 for just a week now...still exploring this machine and discovering it's wonders.
I decided to try to pull codes to see what might have shown up either C or H or whatever...I followed the instructions people have posted as to the right sequence of buttons to push and so forth. Had the key in the on position too. Repeated several times.
Well nothing came up! Nothing at all, and as such I want to know what's up with that? Should there at least be some report of something, anything? I don't get it.
I believe that is exactly what I did except perhaps the reset to turn off any warning message since there were none showing...I just went into the remainder of the sequence. Tomorrow night I will do the reset thing regardless and see if thats the difference then.
Just hold down options (4) and hit fuel (1) four times. Then hit one of the other buttons to scroll through all the sections and if you have none they will all say "no codes"
You're likely to have two codes. They are in the Comm section and are related to stuff we dont have in vettes (but do have in cadillacs), but you will always get....something.
Obviously I did something incorrectly...it's straight forward enough, but for the life of me I can't say what I did wrong. Tonight I will retry this procedure, with fingers crossed.

First I have heard of this, I don't get any codes and never do.

Lemme see if I can find em Bill....was something like U1064 (not sure on that, Ill check)......trying to remember. When I saw it I happened to be with C4C5Specialist and he explained what they were to me.
Had to look back a few years :-) but here it is (or was anyway)
DIM is for a Cadillac, dash integration module.
u1064 in a Corvette is actually the Body control module and can be disregarded as long as it is a history code.
Write down what codes you have and then clear all that you have. Drive the car a few times and see what if anything comes back. The procedure I posted the link to in your previous post has details of how to clear them.
Yes, that's my next effort. Thank You for the follow-up too.
