The manual states that the manual transmission should hold 4.1 quarts. Mine took 3.5 to 3.8, and was pouring out of the fill hole. Now my garage floor/lift has a slight tilt to it, approx 1/2 a bubble if you put a level on it. I have a lift, and I may back the car in and redo this just to be sure, thus putting the fill hole on the upwind side of the tilt. My speculation is fluid will pour out anyway...any thoughts or advice will be appreciated.
If you want to be certain, I suggest putting plywood under the front/rear set of tires to make the car set level as possible.
Then check the fluid at the fill hole and see where your at.
I recently changed mine out and had about 3/4"-1" of fluid left in the 1 gallon jug.
I never get the full 4.1 out and never put 4.1 back in as its not very easy to jack the car up enough to gain access to the tranny without having the car tilted in one direction or the other. As long as you are somewhat level and you filled it up till it came out the fill hole i'd say you are pretty safe.
The trans may hold 4.1 qts but the only way you're ever going to refill that amount is if it's disassembled and dry. On refill doing an oil change the correct amount to refill it is approx. 3.7 qts.

I've changed my fluid several times and never gotten more than about 3 1/2 qts out of it. Just drain out all you can, refill it with a good quality fluid and let 'er rip!
